Tony Labrusca talks about his father, Boom Labrusca

TONI LABRUSCA – Kapamilya actor Tony Labrusca has been candid about his relationship with his father, Boom Labrusca.

Filipino-American actor, recording artist, and commercial model Anthony Angel Jones Labrusca, Jr., better known as Toni Labrusca, was born on August 7, 1995 in Houston, Texas, United States. He first came to prominence in 2016 through a McDonald’s commercial, “Tuloy Pa Rin”.

He is the son of Filipino singer Angel Jones and actor Boom Labrusca. He grew up in LA with his mother, stepfather and sister.

During his interview with talent manager Ogie Diaz, Tony Labrusca opened up about his relationship with his father, Boom Labrusca. The video of his interview was uploaded to Ogie’s Youtube channel on November 25, 2022.

During their interview, the talent manager asked the handsome actor how his relationship with Boom was: “Kamusta na yung relasyon niyo?”

Toni Labruca revealed that he and his father are fine. According to the handsome actor, while he and Boom don’t see each other often, they’re fine and know his dad will always be there for him.

“Okay kami, hindi nga lang kami masyadong nagkikita pero nararamdaman ko na nandiyan siya para sa akin. Pag can do nangyayari or something like that, he’s always checking on me. He always makes sure I’m okay. Gusto kor rin na lagi siyang masaya tsaka kahit naman hindi ako lumaki sa kanya, ewan ko, may mga iba kasing tao na kapag wala yung nanay nila or wala yung tatay nila, meron silang somewhat ditto [sa puso] na hindi nila matiis. Kailangan nilang hanapin kasi nararamdaman nila na hindi sila kumpleto diba?” Toni said.

The actor also mentioned how happy he was that he and his father were reunited, despite not looking for him. He said: Hindi kasi ako nagkaroon ng ganung feel kaya siguro sobrang values ​​ko rin na kahit hindi ko siya hinanap, nag-reunite par rin kami. So parang i am really blessed in this way kasi at least my childhood wala akong bitbit.”
