Marvel’s Midnight Suns: All Tarot Card Locations

Marvel’s Midnight Suns has a few side quests and collectible hunts to complete when you’re not busy battling Hydra and stopping Lilith’s demonic schemes. There are 22 Marvel Tarot cards that can be found in the Abbey home base and surrounding forest, but you must collect all of the Words of Power to access the entire card. We’re here to show you exactly where to look for each card.

All tarot card locations

The moon

Three tarot cards are located in the main Abbey building and The Moon is included in this trio. It’s in the blacksmith’s room next to a large bookshelf. The moon is of course represented by Moon Knight for the art of the card.

The star

The star is in the same room as the moon – it’s on the opposite side of the forge on a red workbench. Nova is the character chosen to represent this Arcana and is used in his card art.

Strength

Strength is represented here by Thor, and the tarot card is in the Abbey Chapel. It stands next to a small pedestal at the southernmost tip of the building.

moderation

It’s time to leave the main building. Temperance sits between two rocks just outside the Abbey. Exit the war room and head east for a few seconds to find this tarot card. The cloak and dagger represent this arcana as a pair.

The sun

The sun can also be found around the abbey boundary. It’s northwest of the Blood Gate fast travel point, on the edge of a small pond. The map uses Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch, for its art and description.

The High Priestess

This tarot card sits on a rock, northeast of the Standing Stones. Your quest for the Moon Seals will bring you here to open the first Blood Gate. Jean Gray is used to represent the High Priestess on this card.

justice

The next maps are all on the southwest side of the map. The justice card uses She-Hulk for her art and is located just behind Agatha’s altar. This is the same place where the EMO KIDS meetings are held, so you will end up here eventually.

Death

The Death tarot card is also right behind Agatha’s altar, just a little further back than Justice. It sits on a cairn on a cliff overlooking the south side of the Abbey, and Death himself is used in the card description.

wheel of fortune

This map is literally a few steps west of Agatha’s altar. It is set on what appears to be an engraved stone coffin, and the Arcana is represented by one of the luckiest mutants in the world, Domino.

the recluse

The hermit is right next to the pedestal where the air staff is located. So you will come across this quite naturally as you complete the Moon Seals side quest. The map is west of the Whispering Woods fast travel point, and Namor is used in its art.

The hanged

The Hanged Man is the final tarot card in this region, but you must use the Reveal Word of Power to get there. Use Reveal to build a bridge just behind Agatha’s altar that will take you straight to an arcane chest, haven, and the tarot card. Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier, represents The Hanged Man here.

The emperor

These next four maps are in the northeast part of the map. The Emperor is in a small clearing next to a table with skulls on it. The location is south of the Everflowing Glade fast travel point, and the tarot art features T’Challa, the Black Panther.

The world

You can find The World just north of The Emperor at Agatha’s Cottage. Of course, the Moon Seals side quest will get you here if you follow Agatha’s directions. The card is on a table just outside the cabin, and Uatu the Guardian is the embodiment of this arcana.

The Hierophant

The Hierophant is another card you’re likely to come across when completing Agatha’s big side quest. It’s behind Shaw’s Church and you need to use the Open Word of Power to go through the back door of the building. It’s sitting in a wheelbarrow on the way to the red station. Professor X is used here in the depiction of the Hierophant.

The Empress

The Empress sits behind a tombstone in a graveyard southwest of the Everflowing Glade – the same graveyard you’ll come across when searching for the Hanging Tree. With T’Challa as The Emperor, it only makes sense that Storm would be The Empress.

The loving ones

Head to the northwest area to find these next two maps. The lovers are in another, smaller graveyard to the right of the Garden of Envy. Use Open to remove the door blocking your way. This is the same graveyard you will enter to find a Moon Seal Fragment for Agatha. Elektra and Daredevil represent The Lovers as a couple in the art of tarot.

The chariot

The chariot can be found further west. It levitates before the final Moon Seal process, just north of Lilith’s garden. Use Reveal to create a bridge that leads straight to the map. The Silver Surfer takes on the role of the chariot in this Marvel deck.

The judgment

The last five tarot cards all require the Break Word of Power, which is the most difficult to obtain. Once you have it, use Break on the wall northeast of The Shop to get to Misty Moors. The Judgment hovers over a dry well, and the Arcana is represented by Galactus.

The devil

The devil is also in Misty Moors, just a few steps north of where you found the previous map. It’s on a small desk to the right of the path. The devil is depicted as the Daemon Hellstrom, also known as Hellstorm.

The Wizard

The Mage is more in the middle of the map. You need to use Break on a wall that’s between Hunter’s Folly and Dreamer’s Descent. The card will sit on a table across the wall, and its arcana will be represented by Doctor Doom.

The tower

The tower map is actually a bit harder to find. It’s behind a huge pile of rubble, southeast of the Dreamer’s Descent fast travel point. Use Break to clear a path and you’ll see the map lying on a desk in a clearing. The tower is represented by the Baxter Building, which is a literal tower used by the Fantastic Four.

The Gate

This last map is south of Gideon’s Cross. You can reach it by using Break on the path leading north from Dreamer’s Descent. The card is under some sort of shrine, and Deadpool is used to represent the arcana.

Rewards for collecting tarot cards

Collecting all 22 tarot cards will instantly reward you with the Salem suit along with its signature passive ability, Salem’s Savior. It also comes with two new swords that fit the medieval theme. Open the customization menu to equip the gear whenever you want.

The Salem Suit Reward

The suit looks like an upgraded version of the very first one the hunter wears at the start of the game. Its passive gives a 50% chance to draw a card when the hunter defeats one or more Lilin with an ability. There are better passives in the game, but this is great if you know Lilin will be in a combat encounter.
