(Eagle News) – A magnitude 5.0 earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Sunday, November 27.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake struck at 12:43 p.m
The epicenter was 35 kilometers northeast of Cortes.
The depth of field was 11 kilometers.

Property damage was not reported, but aftershocks were.
