IDC celebrates Maya Bank – BusinessMirror

Maya Bank Inc. was recently recognized by International Data Corp. in the 2022 Future Enterprise Awards. (IDC) recognized as a country winner for “using its deep customer data and artificial intelligence to bring together banking, payments and more in one money platform — the first innovation of its kind in the Philippines.”

Mayan President Shailesh Baidwan was quoted in a statement expressing his gratitude to IDC “for recognizing our breakthrough innovations powered by data and AI.

This is a testament to how data – when used wisely and fairly – could unleash the power of all-in-one digital banking to accelerate digital adoption and expand financial inclusion.”

IDC named Maya “Best in Future of Intelligence” for its “data-driven everything” program, a key factor in the transformation of PayMaya into Maya.

Baidwan said Maya had attracted over a million new bank customers and more than 10 billion pesetas in deposits just five months after its launch in April 2022.
