Hundreds of people, including young uniformed school children and dancers performing the traditional Lazium folk dance, lined both sides of the street. As the rally passed through villages, people waved from their rooftops and party workers chanted the slogans “Nafrat Chodo, Bharat Jodo (Give up hatred, unite India)” in unison.
