Russia’s central bank is ready to allow cryptocurrencies to be used inside the country, but only as part of a legal experiment, Governor Elvira Nabiullina said.
“It is possible to consider transactions through an authorized organization in the country as part of an experimental legal regime, but that would require an appropriate law,” Nabiullina said during a Bank of Russia press conference on December 16.
