It’s like looking for a pine needle in a haystack. Of course, that didn’t stop us from wading in the pool to pick some of the absolute best Christmas movies streaming right now so you don’t have to. That list includes solid offerings from Disney+ and HBO Max, and Peacock even has a few. Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu are all surprisingly unassuming when it comes to holiday movies that you’ll actually recognize.

Another thing that complicates the search for good Christmas movies is that the kids section – where some of the best movies in this category can be found – is filled less with Christmas movies for kids and more with movies that kids can see, while trying to keep her sane until it’s time to open presents.
